maxill inc. is a diverse provider of infection control, disposables, hygiene and preventative products to a wide and diverse customer base. maxill has been providing quality products to Dentists, Health Care Institutions, Governments and Retail stores since 1988. All maxill products are proprietary in nature and many are made in our own facility in St. Thomas, Ontario.

Sales at maxill are handled by way of our direct representative field sales force in most of the major markets of the country as well as our internal “teletouch” department.

Future
The future is infection control. In recent years, maxill has been investing substantial resources into unique and proprietary infection control products to meet the existing and growing demand for quality infection control products. Many of these products are unique only to maxill.

As these products come on stream, it is important to get the message out and to get these products to market in an effective, timely and world class manner.

Your Major Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for new business sales and customer growth
  • Dedication to the input resource mining of maxill’s internal CRM software
  • Increase market share by on-going coverage of all accounts
  • Identify, engage and co-ordinate necessary maxill resources supporting the account(s)
  • Making contact, prospecting and calling / cold calling directly on Hospitals, Governments of all levels, EMS providers, Medical Health Networks, and related Procurement Groups
  • Planning, development and implementation of both web and print based information on infection control and how the maxill product group can meet these needs
  • Education and continuous evaluation of our existing sales force on the selling techniques and key selling features for infection control and how it impacts our customers and prospects
  • Travel with our sales force will be required to ensure that the training they are receiving is being properly implemented
  • Planning, developing, outlining, implementing and staging infection control seminars and learning sessions for customers and prospects
  • Develop and implement key platforms for various healthcare providers including infection control practitioners, operating room staff and sterility assurance leaders
  • Planning, development, implementation, evaluation/continuous improvement of an infection prevention and control program across entire care continuum at customer facility/facilities. (mainly dental offices )
  • Timely follow-up of leads generated through various marketing actions
  • Identify and evaluate new potential product areas for maxill to enter into

If you have the following qualifications, we want to hear from you:

  • Demonstrated high energy / activity levels
  • Experience in infectious conditions is preferred: risk factors, microbiology, epidemiology, aseptic techniques, and hospital and governmental hygiene regulations
  • Certification in Infection control is an asset.
  • Previous infection control experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organization, planning and communication skills
  • Preference will be given to candidates who reside in the territory / working area
  • A University degree is preferred for this position with concentration in nursing, life sciences, or other healthcare related disciplines.
  • Clinical operating room and/or infection prevention experience is preferred. Related sales experience would also be beneficial.
  • Previous sales experience (inside sales, retail sales or telemarketing) would be an asset
  • Being goal oriented to achieve targets through self-motivation, persistence & determination
  • Demonstrated systems literacy skills (working knowledge of MS Office Applications)
  • Customer driven approach
  • Drive-for-business results and continuous learning
