maxill inc. is a diverse 20 year provider of infection control, disposables, hygiene and preventative products to multiple Canadian customer bases. The main customers of the company are Dentists, Health Care Institutions, Governments and Retail to name a few.  maxill products are proprietary in nature and many are made in our own facility here in St. Thomas, Ontario.

Sales at maxill are handled by way of a direct representative sales force in most of the major markets of the country. Other aspects of sales are handled via our own internal “teletouch” department as well as Key Account representatives for major accounts.

maxill is looking for outgoing individuals who will be responsible for undertaking our Outbound and Inbound Call Programs. You will ultimately be in charge of determining customer’s needs and providing appropriate recommendations. What You Will Bring:

Personality and attitude is key, so excellent interpersonal and superior communication skills are a must. Your list of skills should also include the following:

  • Bi Lingual. Able to Read-Write and Speak French
  • Ability to balance multiple projects

  • Proven computer literacy skills (working knowledge of MS Office Applications)
  • A high degree of professionalism
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Previous sales experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Results driven with a proven ability to project a positive sales attitude
  • Ability to promote products and services and to influence without authority
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, email, presenting)
  • Proven ability to create and implement activity plans, coordinate tasks to achieve a balance between sales initiatives and required deliverables
  • Demonstrates an ability to set individual goals, monitor the progress of objectives against targets, and develop corrective actions or recommendations to ensure goals are met
  • Strong work ethic
  • Fluent in English and French (spoken and written). Ability to speak French is an asset but not required


What Your Position Entails

  • Achieve sales targets for new business sales and customer growth
  • Assisting your External Sales Field Representative in the marketing of the full line of maxill products, services and supplies in designated territories
  • Provide existing account coverage and development of new accounts through cold-calling and prospecting
  • Timely follow-up of leads generated through various marketing actions
  • Meet maxill’s Customer Satisfaction goals by effectively resolving all customer issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Demonstrate high energy/activity levels
  • Dedication to the input and interaction of maxill’s internal and extensive CRM software
  • Increase market share by on-going coverage of all accounts
  • Identify, engage and coordinate necessary maxill resources supporting the account(s)
  • Conduct a pre-determined quantity of outbound calls per day where live contact has been achieved
  • Follow-up on feedback provided during these calls and direct feedback to appropriate persons
  • Complete Activity Status Reports on daily basis and submit these reports to the Sales Pool Manager
  • Within your assigned territories, prospect your own leads through outbound cold calling
  • Cultivate the existing client base, cross selling and up selling clients
  • Work with your Sales Manager and External Sales Rep to establish sales strategies and forecasts
  • Close sales and process sales orders
  • When allocated, receive inbound customer service calls and handle and multitude of transactions
  • Follow up with an existing customers to ensure their complete customer satisfaction expectations are being met
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a thorough, accurate and timely manner
  • Determine customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations with a view to ensure the customer is provided with an excellent customer service experience
  • Demonstrate ongoing efforts to achieve or exceed performance expectations
  • Identify, engage and coordinate necessary maxill resources supporting the account(s)

remuneration that is compatible and competitive with one’s past experience and the results that one feels she/he can deliver to the organization. Scaled based upon > Starter, 45 day review and 90 day review periods.
