maxi Quat Neutral Disinfectant - 2 L Jug

maxi Quat is a concentrated, 5th generation all-purpose, quaternary hospital disinfectant-cleaner. It has been designed for use in daily maintenance for cleaning and disinfection of hard nonporous surfaces in hospitals, medical clinics, doctor’s offices, nursing homes and dental clinics. maxi Quat kills and helps prevent harmful bacteria from becoming airborne; a causative agent of nosocomial infections. Unlike earlier generations of quats, maxi Quat has a neutral pH and is safe to use on nonporous hard surfaces.

maxi Quat contains 4 separate active medicinal ingredients which act on a wide range of microorganisms. In addition to being an all-purpose cleaner and broad spectrum disinfectant, maxi Quat is also a Fungicide, Virucide and Mildewstat. The active medicinal ingredients in maxi Quat are residual which means that its germicidal properties continue to express themselves long after the surface has been cleaned and disinfected.

Excellent cleaning capabilities: maxi Quat is biocidal under practical field conditions. At 1.6% (16 mL / litre of water), and a contact time of 10 minutes, maxi Quat is an effective bactericide, fungicide and virucide in water containing up to 400 ppm hardness (as CaCO3) and in the presence of organic soil (5% blood serum).

Economical Concentrate:

maxi Quat is a concentrate to be diluted at 1 to 64 (approximately 16 mL into 1 L of water). Maxi Quat is contained in a handy 2 L Tip ’n Measure bottle.

Makes up to 130 L.

Directions:

Dilute with tap water. Apply solution with a mop, cloth, sponge or hand-pump trigger sprayer so as to wet all surfaces thoroughly. Allow to remain wet for 10 minutes, then remove excess liquid. For heavily soiled areas a precleaning step may be required.
