Course Description:

This course will help guide you through all aspects of Implant dentistry. We will review proper dental hygiene and the maintenance of dental implants and look at sterilization policies and procedures to ensure accurate logging and consistency in your record keeping.

Over the past year, the SARS CoV-2 pandemic has brought about many changes that impact our daily routines, policies and procedures. This course will help build on your understanding of risk management with regards to proper PPE and fallow times.

  • Understand the basic steps of dental implants
  • Proper dental hygiene care & maintenance for implants
  • Sterilization policy and procedures
  • Guidelines for proper PPE and fallow times

About the Speaker

Nicol Ross CDAII/DTC

Nicol graduated from Fanshawe College in 1995 and updated to a Level II Dental Assistant in 1997. Nicol has over 20 years of Dental Assisting experience in both general practice as well as oral surgery. She expanded her love in dentistry and became a Dental Treatment Coordinator passing her knowledge and experience onto her patients. Nicol has a passion for dentistry and is continuously upgrading her skills and knowledge to keep up with the constantly changing technology and solutions in dentistry today. With all of that, Nicol has become a well sought after lecturer.
